Anybody nostalgic for that lengthy-gone heyday of random celebrities diving headfirst into crypto, rejoice! We seem to be back at this absolutely absurd area of the cycle.

Inside a Mad Lib-esque turn of occasions, now began with Caitlyn Jenner shilling a Pump.fun Solana meme gold coin named within an apparent make an effort to aid Jesse Trump’s presidential campaign.

The possibilities of Jenner abruptly getting so involved in this degenerate corner from the cryptosphere brought many to doubt the publish was legit—prompting the truth star to publish a relevant video confirming everything was real.

After that, the plot only thickened. Apparently, the token’s launch was partly led with a questionable crypto promoter named Sahil Arora. Within hrs from the token’s launch, Jenner tweeted in a Decrypt reporter, claiming Arora had scammed her.

Jenner told Decrypt that Arora went “radio silent” on her behalf soon after the token’s launch, with what she required to become a rug pull. Though Arora claimed at that time to possess labored with other celebrities on crypto projects, other politicians, including rapper Wealthy the little one, required to Twitter to lambast the influencer like a fraudster.

Soon, Jenner announced she’d launched a new token through the same name on Ethereum. With this point, Crypto Twitter wasn’t getting it. The original  token on Solana immediately crashed.

If perhaps the inanity had ended there. In the middle of the Jenner saga, the rapper Iggy Azalea hopped into crypto discourse having a vague pro-crypto tweet.

Ends up, nothing’s a coincidence within this industry. Azalea soon revealed she’d been in touch with Sahil Arora about launching a meme gold coin. Until she determined that “he’s a bitch.”

Madness soon ensued, with Arora gathering thousands and thousands of dollars in arises from a presale of the rogue, apparently unauthorized Azalea token, and Azalea launching her own token

The narrative got so convoluted that some theorized the whole plot—controversy and all—was orchestrated by Arora right from the start.

Soon, Azalea grew to become a darling of Crypto Twitter, attending Twitter Spaces and convincing many who she was entering the for the best reasons.

Sooner or later, it made an appearance sentiment might have switched on Azalea, after on-chain activity recommended some insider buying and selling activity on her behalf “Mother” token.

However the “Mother” token has since be a hit. It has a $74 million market capital by writing.
