Binance Card users now get access to XRP, SHIB and AVAX

Binance announced on Friday that it is Binance Card now supports three new altcoins. Card users are now able to access their holdings of Ripple (XRP), Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Avalanche (AVAX). 

The Binance Card enables its holders to “convert and spend cryptocurrencies in over 60 million on the internet and physical stores.” However, the credit card is just open to European citizens and, based on the website, Ukrainian refugees. Before the escalation from the conflict in Ukraine, Binance had intentions of expanding its card achieve into Ukraine by sometime this season. 

Using the latest addition, the credit card now supports 14 cryptocurrencies, including Cardano (ADA), Avalanche (AVAX), BNB, Bitcoin (BTC), Binance USD (BUSD), Polkadot (Us dot), Ether (ETH), S.S. Lazio Fan Token (LAZIO), FC Porto Fan Token (PORTO), Santos FC Fan Token (SANTOS), SHIB, Swipe (SXP), Tether (USDT) and Ripple (XRP).

New inclusions in the supported crypto don’t alter the current payment preferences for individuals already while using Binance Card.

This development comes eventually after Binance announced its partnership with Mastercard to create prepaid credit cards to Argentina. The 2 financial providers will get together in order to broaden payment options to Binance users in the united states.

Argentinian clients can use BTC and BNB, among other cryptocurrencies, for purchases and withdrawals wherever Mastercard is recognized. 

Captured, Wirex added AVAX to the already big list of currency choices on its crypto card. The woking platform offers users the opportunity to pay in 61 different currencies, both fiat and cryptocurrencies.

Nexo also announced a crypto card together with Mastercard. Nexo announced the work in 2019, although it finally manifested nearly 3 years later. Like the Binance Card, it is just open to residents within certain europe.
