Bank of England Launches Digital Pound CBDC Project with Limitation

Uk promises to launch a main bank digital currency (CBDC) because they issued an appointment paper outlining the suggested digital pound referred to as “Britcoin”. The consultation paper stated 

 We judge that the limit which is between £10,000 and £20,000 per individual will probably strike a suitable balance between managing risks and supporting wide usability from the digital pound.
