Ghana national Daniel Karikari labored as part-time office assistant in a crypto startup, washing the office and serving coffee to the managers. While performing his tasks, he experienced the language “blockchain” and “cryptocurrency” around the office wall, sparking his interest that eventually brought to a different career.
Within an interview with Cointelegraph, Karikari shared his humble beginnings. Based on the Ghanaian, as they was being employed as a workplace assistant, he began to complete his research on crypto while he was interested in the stickers. He described that:
“When I saw that, I started to analyze to be aware what individuals words mean. After that, I began browsing about this on the web and I acquired to understand crypto.”
Next, he lent a laptop from the organization and browse about crypto whenever he’s on break from his responsibilities. When there is something which he didn’t understand, Karikari requested their employees and also got solutions.
Time passed so when she got confident about his understanding, the Ghanian spoken to some manager in the organization and requested to provide him an opportunity to join its marketing department. He stated:
“I told the organization which i know a bit about blockchain and crypto, so whether they can offer me the possibility that i can join the organization, I must use them. That’s the way it began for me personally.”
Astounded by his determination, the organization gave Karikari his shot and allow him to feel the company’s training protocol for newcomers. Eventually, he could join the organization like a junior specialist in the marketing department. He described he was very grateful for that chance he received. He noted that:
“Crypto is an inviting technology to everybody. This is exactly why I believe the folks involved also provide good hearts too.”
Years later, the Ghanian told Cointelegraph he received more possibilities in a variety of crypto projects. At the moment, he works within the marketing portion of a leading crypto exchange located in Dubai, Uae.
