The launch of Meta Verified on Instagram and Facebook (Meta) within the U . s . States was announced by Chief executive officer Mark Zuckerberg today. By recently, subscribers in New zealand and australia may pay a regular monthly charge to obtain their Instagram and Facebook accounts as verified. Monthly charges for Meta Verified are $11.99 for desktop and $14.99 for mobile.

Zuckerberg announced the launch of Meta Verified within the U . s . States on Friday on Instagram’s Meta Funnel. A badge, security against impersonation, and priority use of help are readily available for verified users.

Users may now join the internet subscription service’s waitlist. It’s important to be above 18 years of age, plus there is a monthly cost. For the Meta Verified membership to become approved, you have to first complete the verification procedure and offer a government-issued picture ID.

Furthermore, two-factor authentication is required. If an individual has completed the Meta Verification process, they can’t alter their profile information (for example their name, picture, username, or birth date) without re-verifying.

Meta Verified users get 100 monthly Stars on Facebook and use of special stickers to be used in Facebook Tales, Instagram Tales, and Facebook Reels.

In presenting Meta Verified, Zuckerberg is walking the steps of Elon Musk. After Musk’s purchase of Twitter this past year, the social networking introduced premium verification for $8 monthly through its redesigned Blue membership program. Individuals who’re already verified on Instagram and Facebook won’t be needed to cover verification in the same manner that Twitter does.
