Opera Crypto Browser integrates Coin98 to boost Web3 ease of access in Southeast Asia

Opera Crypto Browser, a Web3-focused task for facilitating navigation across decentralized applications (DApps), games and metaverse platforms, has announced a partnership with Coin98, a Southeast Asia-based decentralized finance (DeFi) platform, to boost Web3 ease of access. 

Following a integration of Coin98, users of Opera’s Crypto Browser can take advantage of the platform’s selection of multichain nonfungible tokens (NFTs), decentralized exchanges (DEXs), mix-chain bridges and asset swaps along with the capability to stake and lend their cryptocurrency portfolios, according to a Thursday announcement.

With Southeast Asia’s status being an online technology hotspot — using the world’s largest quantity of online users — along with a region having a burgeoning youthful population and more and more active crypto community, the collaboration is poised to create Opera’s Crypto Browser a measure nearer to its purpose of promoting mass cryptocurrency and Web3 adoption. Commenting around the development, Susie Batt, crypto ecosystem lead at Opera stated:

“With more than 340 million users worldwide, it is important that people encourage mainstream adoption by offering services and products that everybody may use.”

Opera is a prominent estimate the cryptocurrency industry for a while, also it was the initial browser to simply accept Bitcoin (BTC) payments in 2019. In The month of january 2022, Opera launched the Crypto Browser project, a Web3-oriented initiative to make it simpler to uncover DApps, games and metaverse platforms.

Included in the project, the browser expanded blockchain support for approximately nine major blockchain systems including Bitcoin, Solana (SOL), Polygon (MATIC), StarkEx, Ronin, Celo, Nervos Network, and BNB chain. Captured, Opera partnered with Yat, something that allows the development of emojified websites or URLs.
